Dinner with friends!
Yesterday we made a quick trip to Seattle to watch the Seahawks Training Camp, and afterwards we met our dear friends Amy & Brian for dinner, along with their new little guy Max! Max is almost 5 months old and is the cutest little chubster you've ever met, with a personality to match. We were so busy chatting and catching up, I was only able to grab a quick cell phone picture. Some were more enthusiastic about the picture than others :)
Reason #2,587 Why I Love Day Care
The darling hairdo's she comes home with. This particular do was 3 cute little braids pulled back into a high pony. I am lucky if I can get one simple ponytail in without it turning into a WWE SmackDown.
*And yes - that is her absolute favorite purple shirt, which is why she has it on in 90% of the recent pictures on here. I promise she does have other shirts :)
Lexi's First Date
Last Saturday Lexi and I had a date with Suzi (who works with me) and her two adorable sons, Graham and Gavin. Lexi and Graham were so cute on their date, and Gavin was an excellent chaperone. First stop was Joann's to get some crafting supplies for the mama's. The two lovebirds didn't appreciate being in separate shopping carts, so whining and tantrums ensued. Not that I blame them, I remember being carted around the fabric store as a kid, BO-RING. Next stop was Costco, where Lexi and Graham were much happier to be seated together, thanks to Costco's roomier two-seater shopping carts. After that we headed to Suzi's house for dinner and a movie. Overall, I'd say it was a pretty successful first date!
