So this past week we have gotten more snow than I can ever remember having in this area, and today was the first truly white Christmas I can remember ever having. Watching the huge flakes fall and seeing everything covered in snow is all lovely and great...until about day 3. When you live in an area that only experiences this much snow oh say every 40 years, an area that is not even close to prepared to handle this much snow (it only takes a half an inch on the ground to shut down area schools) it can really create a headache for those trying to go about their everyday lives. Simply getting to work becomes a serious hassle. Trying to get your last minute Christmas shopping done? Fuggetaboutit. Even as I type this, I have seen 3 different cars get stuck at the stop sign on our street. But I suppose the snow has given us a few photo ops, so without further adieu, I present you with: *ARCTIC BLAST 2008.

**The picture of the 7 inches, that was our driveway on Day #2. We lost count after that, as it would snow more, rain a little, snow more, freezing rain a little, snow more. And more. And more. And more.
