Milestones

Greetings! Thought I would update you all on some key milestones that Lexi has reached recently, as this has been a very exciting Fall season in our house!

• Speech: Lexi's 1st word....Da Da! Which quickly became replaced with Ba Ba (as in bottle) because as any smart woman knows, talking doesn't usually doesn't get a man's attention, food however, does. Ba Ba also means "Hey you, I'm wet/poopy/hungry/bored/sleepy/happy/tired of riding in the car/missing the game because you are blocking my view of the tv".
• Mobility: Lexi is now able to maneuver her ASV (All Surface Vehicle) anywhere she pleases! Around the house, into walls, around corners, she can even parallel park that sweet ride (walker) in between the open dishwasher and someone standing at the stove! If Da Da would ever get around to souping up her Kolcraft Walker SSE (Sesame Street Edition) she would even have the speed and handling to catch that darn cat. Thankfully we have only had 1 hit and run, and the victim walked away with some minor tushy bruising (sorry Grandma Caryl).
  
• Attitude: Lexi has also found a new way of expressing herself! PSHHHH! You know, that sound you make with your mouth in response to someone saying or doing something so ridiculous you have no words? PSHHHH! Lexi darling, would you like some sweet potatoes? PSHHH! Lexi sweetie, would you mind not kicking your legs like an Olympic swimmer while I change your diaper so that I can avoid getting poo everywhere? PSHHH! Lexi pumpkin, would you please not have super loud gas in the grocery store? PSHHH! (Yeah, happened again last night). I bet the eye rolling will be coming any day now!
